OMG!, I absolutely LOVE playing at Maurer park in Berlin on sundays!! It is almost perfect! people are happy and friendly. there are people selling all manner of alcoholic beverages of all types. and best of all, I get to see some of the best live music i've seen anywhere. everything from african folk music to heavy metal to 500 person karaoke and marching bands. there is no competition ( that i can sense) amongst all of these artists. just easy going vibes. with that said...

on this particular sunday i decided to come prepared for the heavy metal band who played so loud the previous sundays, as to break my concentration. so i broke out my helmet, which when snuggly secured, blocks out most sound other than what is coming from my computer, so i was able to play with impunity.

although this excerpt was a bit fast (144bpm), it didnt feel like it at the time. i had been playing for about 3 hours by this point and tempo didnt mean much to me by that time. this was done approximately 15 minutes before i went home. if you have a good name for this or any of my unnamed pieces, please feel free to let me know.
