This song is very very special. I wrote it on, not surprisingly, August 12th, 2004. for years before that, I had struggled with trying to find a sound that defined me. something that was uniquely "Onyx". then one day, while at home, i decided to "mess around" a bit. not really trying to achieve anything in particular, i just wanted to pass some time, and this was the result. it was special for me because of the horns playing background to the lead synth instead of the other way around. it was kind of a eureka moment for me that time because it never really occured to me that that was so strange until after i was actually listening to it.
