during my first full winter in the UK, i was living in a Squat in east london and i after a year or so of things not really going right, i was really really depressed. which is a nice way of saying i had a nervous breakdown ( no, seriously). the first week was pretty uneventful; i mainly slept 20 hours a day and cried alot. but during the second week, unable to speak to people but equally unable to sleep at this point, i turned to my computer for solace and poured my heart into a my music. during this week, i remembered a particularly special ex-girlfreind who always had the courage to do what she wanted and seemed to always be able to bounce back from everything. just thinking about her inspired me, so i wrote this song for her. i really really helped.
