I still dont understand how it is that when i go home to Mississippi that i write some of my most important music. I usually only go there specifically to visit family. but while i am there, i guess because there is nothing else to do besides play with my nieces and write music, i have time to dedicate to creating. go figure. spent all those years in high school dreaming about getting away from there, and now, years later, i find it an inspiring place to write.
